Dalla condivisione di alcune caratteristiche del "dark prog" รจ nata la sfida insieme al nostro produttore Loris Furlan di voler far rivivere - con le nostre sonoritร - un classico del progressive rock di una band che dovrebbe essere riscoperta anche dai giovani sostenitori del genere. Stiamo parlando dei Beggars Opera, originale band scozzese che potremmo definire rock progressivo/psichedelico, con un pizzico di sinfonico. Hanno avuto una breve ma intensa attivitร tra studio di registrazione e live tra il 1970 e il 1976. Abbiamo deciso di omaggiarli con la cover di uno dei loro classici, "The Witch". Buon ascolto!

Sharing certain "dark prog" features, the challenge arose together with our producer Loris Furlan trying to revive - with our characteristic sound - a progressive rock classic from a band that should also be rediscovered by young supporters of the genre. We are talking about Beggars Opera, an original Scottish band that we could define as progressive / psychedelic rock, with a pinch of symphonic. They had a short but intense activity between recording studio and live between 1970 and 1976. We decided to pay homage to them with the cover of one of their classics, "The Witch". Have a good listen!

"La Strega" (The Witch) รจ stata composta dal chitarrista Ricky Gardiner e dalla tastierista Virginia Scott, arrangiata dai Beggars Opera e pubblicata nel 1972 all'interno dell'album "Pathfinder".
